Chatham Christian Church will be holding an open house on Sunday, April 12th, from 2-4, and wish to invite the community to explore the beautiful gymnasium that has just been completed. The gym contains a full-size basketball court that is lined with volleyball and three pickleball courts and was made possible by a bequest from the estate of Jack and Bonnie Ruebush, former residents of Chatham and long-time members of the congregation.
Following the open house and an all-church pizza party, the gym will be dedicated, and children will initiate the gym by playing half-court basketball and learning to play pickleball. Teen and adult games will begin later that evening.
The gym will primarily be used for church activities and sports-related evangelistic outreach, but the community will always be welcome to participate. A Mission Cup Vacation Bible School program from Mega Sports Camp has been scheduled for June 8th-11th, from 6:15-8:30 each evening, and families from the area are encouraged to mark those dates on their calendars.
